Privacy policy

How personal data, measurement and advertising technologies are used.

This text explains how personal data of bebekkibris.com visitors is processed. Data controller / publisher: Bebek Kıbrıs editorial team. The site is not a health institution. Place of publication is Northern Cyprus (TRNC).

Data we collect

  • Name, email and message you write in the contact form or article comment form
  • Email for the newsletter (only if you submit it)
  • Technical logs: IP address, browser information (security and debugging)
  • Cookies and similar technologies: session, security, cookie preference; measurement and ads if you consent

Purpose

Data is used to reply to messages, moderate comments, run the site, keep it secure, and — with your consent — measure use and show ads that fund the site.

Google Analytics (measurement)

Google Analytics 4 may run through the Google tag / Tag Manager (measurement ID G-P3KDY2Z44Z). Measurement cookies and page statistics start only if you choose Accept on the cookie bar. If you choose Reject, Analytics consent stays denied and measurement cookies are not written. After consent, Google may process page views, device/browser type and approximate geography. Admin visit summary

To operate the site, the publisher keeps a server-side page-request summary without cookies: path, referrer host, human/bot class and a daily unique count. The unique count is a daily hash of IP and user-agent; raw IP is not stored in these tables. No advertising profile is built. Summary records are deleted after about six months. This measurement is independent of the cookie bar; it is not Google Analytics.

Google AdSense (ads)

The site is prepared to show ads with Google AdSense Auto ads. The ads script may appear in the page source. Personalisation and ad cookies do not open until you choose Accept; Consent Mode defaults to denied.

When AdSense is on, Google may process device information, page URL, approximate location and cookie identifiers for ad selection, frequency capping and abuse prevention. For personalised ads you can use Google Ads Settings. General policy: Google Advertising.

Consent Mode

The site uses Google Consent Mode. By default analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are denied. “Accept” sets them to granted; “Reject” keeps or returns them to denied.

Comments

The comment form under articles is optional. Name, email and text first go to editor review; unapproved comments are not published. Email is not shown on the site. Insults, spam, claimed medical diagnoses or ads are rejected.

Sharing

We do not sell your data except where the law requires. Hosting, email and — with your consent — Google Analytics / AdSense providers follow their own privacy policies.

Retention

Contact messages and comments are kept for a reasonable time for reply, moderation and legal duties. Account and content data are kept while we publish. Your cookie preference is stored in your browser; you can delete it.

Your rights

For access, correction and deletion requests use the contact form or editor@bebekkibris.com. You can renew the cookie preference from the bar at the bottom of the page or the “Reset preferences” link on the cookie policy.
